Rudolf Schütze blir feiret 24.mars 1943 etter å ha mottatt ridderkorset

Til venstre øverst Wetterdienst Inspektor Wergin. Nederst til høyre Rudolf Schütze. (Rudi Schütze). Schütze var den eneste "værflygeren" som fikk tildelt ridderkorset. Han endte sitt liv sammen med seks andre da han i dårlig være styrtet på Oldereid den 26.8.1943 med en Arado AR 232 A-10
